This page summarises cancellation, change and refund terms for Ufukça package tours. What is binding are the Package Tour Contract and the relevant legislation (Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Package Tour Regulation).
Cancellation by the traveller
- Up to 45 days before departure: no deduction other than the deposit (the deposit remains as a service fee and is not refunded)
- 44–30 days before: 30% of the tour fee
- 29–15 days before: 60%
- 14–0 days before or no-show: 100%
- Third-party charges such as airline tickets and visas follow the terms of the relevant body
Cancellation and change by the agency
If the number of participants falls below the minimum (eight people) the tour may be cancelled at least 21 days before departure; in that case the amount paid is fully refunded or transferred to another tour. If a significant change is made to the programme the traveller has the right to cancel without penalty or choose an alternative tour.
Visa refusal
If a visa application is refused, the visa service fee and consular fee are not refunded; for the tour fee, the amount other than payments already made for the flight ticket and ground services is refunded. Travel health and cancellation insurance can partly cover this risk; your adviser will present the options.
Refund process
Refund requests are received in writing (email or customer portal) and refunded to the payment method within 14 working days at the latest. For instalment payments the bank reflects the refund on its own schedule. Third-party deductions depend on the approval times of the institutions concerned.
