Practical information
From İstanbul you fly to Trabzon or Rize-Artvin Airport in 1 hour 45 minutes. Rain is possible in every season, so a waterproof jacket is important. In the highlands fog can change the view suddenly, so we plan one reserve day in the programme.
Food and shopping
Kuymak (mıhlama), black-cabbage soup, anchovies and the taste of tea are unforgettable. Rize tea, honey and hazelnuts are the best souvenirs.
